Privacy Policy
Alfred — a private personal assistant. Last updated: 20 September 2026.
What this is
Alfred is a personal assistant application run by one individual, for that individual's own use only. It is not a product, not a service offered to others, and has no users other than its owner. It runs on a private server controlled by the owner.
What data is accessed
With the owner's explicit authorisation, Alfred reads the owner's own data from the WHOOP API:
- physiological cycles and strain
- recovery scores
- sleep records
- workouts
- body measurements
- basic profile information
Only the owner's own account is accessed. No other person's data is collected, requested, or processed.
Why
The data is used solely to show the owner their own daily energy expenditure and recovery alongside their own records, on their own server.
Where it is stored
On the owner's private server, in a local database and local files readable only by the server's administrative account. Access tokens are stored with file permissions restricted to that account.
Who it is shared with
Nobody. The data is not sold, published, shared with third parties, or sent to any analytics, advertising, or tracking service. No third-party analytics run on this page.
How long it is kept
Until the owner deletes it. There is no automated transfer of this data anywhere else.
Revoking access and deletion
The owner may revoke Alfred's access at any time in their WHOOP account settings, and may delete all locally stored WHOOP data by removing the local database and stored tokens from the server.
